Workshop Contents & Goals

The goal of the 2nd KDubiq Industry Applications Workshop is to present emerging KDubiq industry applications in the areas of automotive, space missions, p2p information management, stream mining, shopping assistance and more. It is the follow up KDubiq industry event of the two days workshop held at Daimler Research Center in Ulm, Germany in 2006. This industry workshop is targeting senior researchers and industry partners from the KDubiq, KDNet and UBICOMP as well as other neighbouring communities. The results of the WG 1 workshop will be included in the KDubiq Blueprint Chapter 7: Application Environments.

The WG 1 Workshop is collocated with the 2nd European Summer School on Knowledge Discovery for Ubiquitous Computing in Porto (2-9 March 2008). The registration to the KDubiq Summer School is separate from this event!

The registration to the WG 1 industry applications workshop is free of charge for all KDubiq Members, BUT registration online to the WG 1 workshop is obligatory in advance under: http://www.kdubiq.org/kdubiq/control/applicationWorkshop_registration_form.

We will be able to host at most the first 30 online registered people!
